I'm very pleased with this replacement AC adapter. The original one that came with the UE Megaboom speaker broke after over a year of use, the prongs broke off. This unit is smaller and more compact and the prong design is definitely superior to the 1st adapter I had. The one I received is brand new, as expected and shipped quickly.

Beware of a reviewer who wrote the seller sent them a used unit…. referencing the photo that buyer posted they claim the larger sized adapter that is definitely used was what they received, the image shows they did receive the brand new smaller sized adapter, they're trying to claim their larger USED one is what they received. Great product, glad I purchased it.

Whrn I purchased my UE Mega Boom DID NOT come with a charger and car so I was forced to make the extra expense in purchasing a charger and able. This charger along with the appropriate cable has made ALL the difference in the world as far as charging goes!!!! Had I known the UE MegaBoom did not include a charger I would have purchased a JBL speaker
instead.
